The Vocational Training School for the Disabled is an officially recognized replacement school, which is integrated into SFZ BBW.

Living and learning in the vocational school follows the principle that the individual needs of the youth are met, and that all the necessary support is available in the facility.  All youth, regardless of the severity of their disability or developmental focus, are accepted into the Special Vocational School.

A new school building with state-of-the-art technology for the blind and visually impaired and a new gymnasium provide an optimal environment for successful learning.  The course content are offered in block format so that there remains adequate time for longer term internships and individual projects.

The teachers at the vocational school help ever more trainees who have received or are receiving an integrated education.  They are available to advise and support trainees and teachers at the compulsory schools.  This support proceeds in concert with the relevant educational agencies.
