SFZ BBW introduced a new Case Management system in January 2003 with the objective of assuring successful vocational certification and integration into the primary labor market for each of our rehabilitation clients. To optimize the available structures and support networks, client support programs are directed individually and effectively.
Our Case Managers assist in devising support programs, in coordinating essential services for rehabilitation clients, and they work in close contact with teachers, vocational training instructors, on-the-job training personnel, boarding school counselors, specialists, and, of course, the rehabilitation patients themselves to provide an environment in which our clients can find opportunities and support independently. They are your primary points of reference.
Furthermore, the Case Managers are available to share their expertise and their knowledge of individual case histories with the clients? benefactors and the appropriate government agencies.
A personal budget is a sum the disabled individual receives to purchase the assistance she/he needs from a commercial provider her/himself. All those who are disabled, for whom a disability is impending, and who qualify for governmental assistance are able to apply to a provider for this assistance in the form of a personal budget. According to current legislation, the decision of whether or not the services will be provided in the form of a personal budget lies with the provider. As of 01/01/2008, all disabled individuals will be legally entitled to a personal budget.
Services eligible to be covered under the budget include accessibility support as well as those services covered by social, home and health care insurance. Applications can be submitted to health insurers as well as the labor, the social security, the integration, and the social insurance bureaus.
The SFZ Förderzentrum also offers personal budgets to our clients. Our Case Managers will advise and assist you in your search for the appropriate services to meet your needs.
