German as a Second Language

Course Content:

The lessons are based on the requirements of the European Framework, which defines six levels in the areas of listening, reading, speaking and writing:

• Elementary level A1 and A2 (Elementary)
• Independent use of language B1 and B2 (Intermediate),

• Proficient use of language C1 and C2 (Advanced).


What do we offer?

Individual German lessons and language courses in German as a second language

  • German lessons for all levels (A1 to C2) to improve oral and written communication skills and listening and reading comprehension
  • On request at the end of the course exams can be taken: Test for German as a foreign language for immigrants (DTZ, equivalent of the test for acquiring the German citizenship - Einbürgerungstest), German work, German for study at German universities (TestDaF), etc. 


German in preparation for a vocational training

  • Creating the application folder and preparing for job interviews
  • German lessons with a focus on spelling, grammar, job-specific vocabulary and presentation
  • Accompanying support during the vocational training is also possible


German for work

  • job-specific vocabulary and written communication
  • Communication in daily professional situations
  • job-specific presentations

Depending on the needs of the participants, we offer the training as individual or group lessons. The classroom is equipped with computer magnifier and Braille display. Braille texts are also available.


Financing

  • The costs can be covered by the JobCenter or your local welfare agency.
